A SHORT NOTE ON FEMINISM

“Ever heard of the age-old saying “Only boys can play with cars” and that “Toys like barbies only belong to girls”? You must have. Though people say these superstitions are gone or are disappearing, they are still there. Even though it is not about cars and barbies anymore, there is still sexism and discrimination alive in society.

It will take more than just a gender-neutral toy to make men and society in general change the way they perceive feminism. Feminism is not just about giving women equal chances, it is also about looking at a female with positivity no matter how she is.”

“Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong,it’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.”
